Autumn is my favorite time of year and Italy’s countryside is transformed with color-filled trees and vineyards. Another beautiful aspect of Italy is the quaint little towns that can be seen everywhere. I decided to paint my vineyard from the perspective of standing in the hillside vineyard looking out over the town and fields. I am most pleased with the colors of the vineyard and the play of light on them and the town.
