Sunsets are awesome to see and to paint especially when they are filled with rich reds, oranges, yellows, and golds. I enjoyed painting the highlights on the Tuscan hills and trees, the long shadows the setting sun produced, and the effect created by the last of the sun’s rays playing on and through the flowers. I was well satisfied with the result.
