Snowfall in the Valley

Winter came and with it my desire to paint snow. I came up with a quiet (all things seem especially quiet in the snow) little farm beside a river in the valley of the mountains. It seemed like a very peaceful and wonderful place to be. However, if you look closely, the daffodils are peeking through the snow, so spring is not far away.
