I have always liked the architecture and atmosphere of charming old colleges and universities in America. Perhaps it is because they remind me of European antiquity with the timeless presence they create. Daily campus life is filled with constant activity, except for a few brief moments when the grounds are covered with snow creating a quiet and magical atmosphere.
