I have been influenced lately by French Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro who was instrumental in helping to form the Impressionist movement. His paintings of small villages and the countryside, and his strong use of light just draw me into his paintings. I can spend hours studying his work and that of other Impressionist artists. Consequently, I was inspired to paint my own small country village.
