With fall here and winter approaching I had a bit of nostalgia for summer blooms. I decided to go all out and design a walled garden absolutely full of colorful summer flowers. The garden turned out a little more formal than I had originally planned, but it was great fun to paint, and I like the result. Each flower and shrub was chosen with composition and color in mind.
