My idea was merely to paint the beautiful and snowy woods which seemed undisturbed except by animals. Sometimes the canvas and the paints are in control, and you merely let them do their thing. That is what happened with this painting, and it happened so quickly leaving me astonished and knowing I may never be able to do it again.
